Heart to Heart

Love.  Joy.  Paper.

What's in a name?  If I had to chose three words, these would be the three.  Let me explain.

LOVE  Love is ultimately from God.  The Bible says "God is Love."  John 3:16,"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." 

Romans 8:38 & 39 is a favorite promise of mine.  "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."  What a delightful promise!  I am LOVED by God the Creator! 

But beyond that, LOVE for my FAMILY is my driving force.  I am so blessed with the family God has given me.  Often, I don't deserve them (but they are stuck with me).  How delightful to know I have their love as well.



JOY "Joy is defined as the happy state that results from knowing and serving God"  Joy is an inner happiness, from deep within that is not based on circumstances.

"The joy of the Lord is my strength."  Nehemiah 8:10
"The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him."  Psalm 28:7




PAPER I use paper as a symbol here.  I am a very creative person.  I believe that is the strength the Good Lord blessed me with.  I try to use my creativity to share His love with others (sometimes I fail, sometimes I succeed, but my heart is always in sharing God's love). 
When I was trying to find a url address, I wanted short and catchy.  It wouldn't work well to say Love Joy Paper Beads Food Photography......I needed just one.  And since crafting with paper (primarily scrapbooking) is my first love, I went with paper to symobolize all my crafty endeavors!

That is an insight into my heart and why I've chosen the name I did.
