Dimensional Flower Tutorial

“Finally Friday!  I’m free again!”  Okay, so that George Jones song isn’t really applicable to me, I’m a Stay at Home Mom and we run a small business.  Friday is just another day followed by another work day.  But for you, I’m hoping it’s a great day with promise of fun tomorrow!

Yesterday I posted a new sketch challenge for the month of March.  As well as the challenge was my LO.  Today, I wanted to share a little video tutorial of how to make the flowers I used on my page.  I’m pretty sure it’s not a new concept (as I say in the video, I figured it out from watching some cake decorating show on my other addiction “Food Network” – yes, it’s a weakness).

Now I know there is still a fairly big difference, but I think the dimension on these flowers is comparable to the crazy pretty but crazy pricey Prima flowers.  To me, I think this is a fantastic

Beautiful! Great video tutorial. I made a dimensional flower yesterday but didn't use mist. I just folded and crumpled until I got the look I liked. It's on a card. I'll probably post tomorrow. Thanks, Amanda!
