Ah….the wonderful holidays. When every company under the sun sends you a catalog to get you to spend your hard earned cash at their business……and last week was the worst…..You see one day the American Girl catalog arrived…..and another day….this……….
LEGO……….fasten your wallets people………
Cody has been dreaming of a train Lego set. Fortunately for our bank account, I thought they didn’t exist………sadly, I was wrong.
But as much as I knew he loved it, he knew he had to ask Santa for something less expensive. I had coached him how to read the prices in the catalog. Then he showed it to Daddy. And well,……that’s where the story potentially changes.
I still don’t know, so stay tuned. But let me just say, it’s a pretty stinkin cool set! Wish it wasn’t more than a weeks worth of groceries though….
At the very least, this is one well loved and well worn catalog! Thanks for that at least Lego. We’ve yet to see if there will be a very happy boy Christmas morning.
