Remembering on Memorial Day

I'm proud to be an American

where at least I know I'm free

and I won't forget the men who died

and gave that right to me

And I'll gladly stand up next to you

and defend her still today

cause there ain't no doubt

I love this land,

God Bless the USA

100 Pages in a Dash - Done in a Flash

Well, I'm done! I have to say, that even I am impressed. 2 1/2 weeks, that's pretty good!! My previous record was 97 pages in 1 month, so I'm pretty happy. Someone else finished before me though, but second, is not bad (of course, I cheated and went shopping, so I couldn't really win anyway!)

So here's the last few pages, and a few extra!

Mission: Possible My First Acrylic Album

Oh, it was so much fun! The only thing I would do differently is get bigger acrylic. Mine was 6 x 6 and I had to cut the pictures down and didn't have much "white" or blank space. I would love to try another one. Most of the papers are by Autumn Leaves.

100 Page Dash Pages 73-85

Well,......I'm cruising through, almost to 100. Take a look at these pages. I ordered more pictures and should have them here tomorrow, so I'll be able to get back to work (I'm pretty much out of good pictures right now).

"The love we give away is the only love we keep."
"Persuasion" Trying to get Aly to want to walk, was well, difficult. Even with much bribing, coaxing and persuading, she finally did it the day before the deadline for doctors to order tests run on her. (Sorry, the "R" got lost).
"Will Spring ever come?" We had a really long winter and cold spring. We had several snowfalls (of 6" or more) in April.

"Don't mess with a girl and her gun."

Just a page of a cute picture of Aly.

The title reads "Treasures of the heart" (Sorry, part of the word heart came off, gotta go find it). I LOVE this new paper and embellishment line by K&Company.

An older picture of Aly. She was 6 months old or so.

Aly and her favorite toy, her stroller.
"The most wated of days is one without laughter."
A page of Aly playing on a ladder.
Cody working on his "train." He took apart our old generator and re-assembled it on his bed. He has the nicest "diesel train" in town!

Pages 30-72

Here's the next set of pages. Sorry, I took pictures of them in sets of 4 to save time & cyber space! The pictures aren't very good because my 18 month old was trying to help!

This challenge was really great though, because I nearly finished our house album that I started 6 months ago. I lost momentum on it, and put it aside, never to be finished. Since I had all the supplies and it was all just sitting there, I pulled it out. So, I must confess these pages all went together SUPER fast because it was a kit that had everything done already, great patterened paper, and photo mats already cut. So without any more yabbering, here they are:
