Well, I've been playing on my computer again. I am so loving this digital scrappin! No worries though, I don't plan on giving up paper scrapbooking anytime soon. (I've got WAY too much invested in it to quit now, and my computer needs more RAM if I want to give it a shot fulltime!)

Weekend Challenge 4/26

This LO is for the CKMB weekend challenge. The title says "1 Brave Dad." Journaling:

I walked into the bathroom one day and couldn't believe what I saw. Dad was letting YOU, a three year old, cut his hair!

Beautiful(?) Algae Bloom

We live in an area called Cameron Lake. That's because there is hundreds of lakes and ponds near my home. For the last few days, one of the lakes has had an algae bloom. It's been varying shades of pink and red. Today when I drove by it looked brighter and milkier than normal, so OF COURSE, I had to go get my camera and come back! So here it is, a big bowl of Strawberry Milk!

Old Work, Cringe Worthy? or Cherished Moments?

So, somone on the CKMB challenged us to post our first LO. Well, my Very first LO does not exist anymore. I did it when I was in junior high, and have no idea what happened to it. So here is my first three LOs from when I really began to scrapbook. (I only did a handful LOs a while ago, and gave up on it because I didn't have money to spend on tools & such).

While I do not like them at all compared to what I do now, they are a part of how I've come, and they are dear to me because they are my son.

New Memories, Old Moments

I sat down to scrap today and came across this old picture of my husband and his brother when they were kids. I decided it would make a great layout, that's what the top result was.

I also scrapped these two pictures of Aly. Neither of the pictures were that flattering, but I was just having fun playing with digital designs. I think I may have to experiment a little more, it's fast and easy (of course, I'm going to have to add some RAM to my computer if I do a lot of it), but something different anyway! Hope you enjoyed the peek! (No layouts of Cody because boy digital stuff is much harder to come by).

Welcome to my house of grumpies! We're all grumpy! We spent the weekend on the coast, which means a week of re-adjusting when we get home.
